International Professional Development Events

2016-2017 Events

The College Board provides professional development opportunities for secondary school administrators, teachers and counselors worldwide. These events are open to current participants in our programs such as Advanced Placement (AP), as well as those interested in learning more about how to enhance their school curriculum or university guidance services, or those looking to develop or sustain an AP program.

For AP teachers, coordinators, and administrators, we offer three event types:

AP Summer Institutes (APSI)- generally a week in length, aimed at AP teachers unless otherwise specified.

AP Workshops- generally multiple days, with sessions in various AP subject areas. For university counselors, we offer various training events that bring counselors and admissions officers together for learning and sharing of best practices. More information will be available late summer.

To stay up to date on events and updates, set up a College Board account.

You can also email us your questions at PD_international@collegeboard.org.
