About the College Board's Chinese Language and Culture Initiatives
The College Board launched the Chinese Language and Culture Initiatives to help support the growth of Chinese education in U.S. schools and to build a solid foundation for the AP Chinese program. We offer programs to serve schools, administrators, and teachers.
A unique opportunity for U.S. institutions to bring students to participate in a two-week study abroad program in Beijing, China, in 2018. Administered by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), this program will focus on the application of knowledge about Chinese language and culture in a real-life, immersive environment.
Bring native speakers and authentic cultural resources to your school and community. Through this program, you can host an experienced language teacher from China for one to three years. The Chinese Guest Teacher Program allows U.S. accredited K–12 schools and districts to start or expand Chinese programs efficiently and affordably.
