Community Colleges and Student Search Service

beginning of content:

As part of our mission to deliver more opportunities to all students and expand access to higher education, the College Board provides approximately 100,000 names and addresses of students at no cost to community colleges on an annual basis.

These students are high school seniors who took one or more College Board exams, including PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and AP, and  said "yes" to participating in Student Search Service® but received no outreach material from four-year colleges or invitations from universities to apply as first-year students. The College Board believes these students want to go to college as evidenced by their willingness to take a College Board assessment.

If your community college is interested in reaching out to these eager students for free, please send an email to collegeboardsearch@collegeboard.org with the subject line "Community College Initiative," and include your name and contact information.

This opportunity is only available from Apr. 15 through Aug. 31. We look forward to working with your community college on these and other initiatives that serve your institution and your students.
